About PMMMNMTT and RUSA

The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), is encouraging enhanced learning, through faculty training, via its schemes through Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT).

In this context, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) has constituted an expert committee to design new pharmacy related courses to be introduced as electives/ add-on courses in curriculum under choice-based credit system.

The faculty Development Centre established in Institute of chemical Technology (ICT) under the aegis of RUSA, Maharashtra would train teachers on these newly designed courses and pursue a long-term goal of building a strong professional cadre of teachers by upgrading their skills and improving the employability opportunity for the students. These RUSA courses has adapted by the institute bridge the gap between industry and academia & successfully running by the institute for the betterment of students towards employability.

We currently offer following RUSA certificate courses to students’ fraternity-

  • Clinical Data Management (CDM)
  • Pharmaceutical Marketing Management (PMM)
  • Industrial Pharmacy I(IPI)
